The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This includes monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to incidents, and enforcing security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards

  
  

• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems

  
  

• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles

  
  

• Verify identification and issue visitor passes

  
  

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms

  
  

• Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports

  
  

• Enforce company policies, safety rules, and security procedures

  
  

• Assist in emergency situations such as fire, medical incidents, or evacuations

  
  

• Provide customer service by giving directions and assisting visitors when needed

  
  

• Report suspicious activities or unsafe conditions to management or authorities

  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role preferred

  
  

• Knowledge of security operations and emergency procedures

  
  

• Ability to stay alert and calm under pressure

  
  

• Good communication and observation skills

  
  

• Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring systems

  
  

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
