Job Description

SAP FICO Operations & Support


  • Ensure smooth operation and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Profitability/Profit Center Accounting (PF).
  • Provide functional support for:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Support daily business activities on SAP applications for all Leoni plants.

Banking & Cash Management


  • Configure and maintain House Bank settings in SAP.
  • Manage Bank Determination configurations.
  • Monitor and support Electronic Bank Statements and related posting processes.

Electronic Invoicing


  • Administer Electronic Invoicing Release Tables and user management.
  • Provide operational support for the Electronic Invoicing application.
  • Ensure compliance with local and corporate e-invoicing requirements.

Integration & Cross-Module Support


  • Support SAP MM/SD and Finance integration processes, including:
    • Purchase-to-Pay (MM–FI)
    • Order-to-Cash (SD–FI)
  • Analyze and resolve integration issues impacting financial postings.

Incident & User Support


  • Act as a second-level support contact for SAP FICO-related issues.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and standard change requests via ServiceNow.
  • Communicate effectively with business users, key users, and IT teams to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement


  • Maintain functional documentation, procedures, and configuration records.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements.
  • Support audits, testing activities, and system upgrades or rollouts when required.


Qualifications and Experience

Technical Skills


  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules (FI, GL, AP, AR, AA).
  • Solid understanding of banking processes in SAP (House Banks, Bank Determination, Bank Statements).
  • Experience with Electronic Invoicing solutions in SAP.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM/SD Finance integration.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.

Soft Skills


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-site, international environment.
  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Education & Experience


  • University degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in SAP FICO.
  • SAP certification in FICO is a plus.
