Job Description
- Reviews and verifies supplier industrialization plan for new purchased parts based on the LEONI and contractual requirements
- Plans audits based on supplier evaluation, project planning, risks and existing requests considering sustainability requirements.
- Realizes potential audits, supplier technical visits and supplier VDA 6.3 Audit.
- Verifies supplier release documents and prepares final release decision
- Prepares data and negotiates claims in collaboration with SQA (Country Plant)
- Negotiates quality contracts and agreements (QAT/QAA (Quality Assurance Terms/Agreements) und QTA's (Quality Target Agreement))
- Regularly monitors the supplier performances, follows up action plans and is responsible to develop supplier quality performance .
- Audits the supplier on the basis of the audit plan and, if necessary, on the basis of current issues.
- Checks the appropriateness of the audit action plan (root cause analysis, measures) and the effectiveness of the corrective actions, taking into account the sustainability requirements
- Monitors and realizes activities from supplier enabling and development programs
- Conducts risk analyses of suppliers and realizes capacity verifications (R&R - Run and Rate)
- Coordinates problem solving in cooperation with the supplier for escalated supplier quality and sustainability topics (e.g. manages supplier workshops)
- Supports Purchasing in alignment & negotiation with the suppliers
- Plans and conducts internal and external training courses
- Is responsible for and reports on the key quality indicators (KPIs) of the suppliers in his own area of responsibility
Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in a technical fiel
- 5 years of experience in the field of quality management or supplier management is necessary
- Metallurgy knowledge would be an advantage
