Job Details

Creates and implements global processes, policies and standards for business travel, including travel expense reimbursement - Monitors local travel standards and instructions to ensure compliance with globally defined policies, processes, tools and frameworks - Creates training concepts and offers training including creation of materials on global travel topics - Advises on the implementation of travel management programs at local level - Enables and supports ensuring compliance and due diligence in travel bookings, travel handling and support (global rules and their application) - Creates, coordinates and publishes travel alerts - Supports the review and creation of EU/A1 postings - Organizes and coordinates external providers for travel advice/booking as well as services and tools for compliance (due diligence) and risk mitigation (International SOS) - Researches Identifies global trends, digitalization opportunities and benchmarks to drive continuous improvement of travel management processes and tools - Defines, consolidates and checks travel key figures and indicators, ensures data quality and conformity, develops deviation analyses based on this and initiates measures. - Produces analyses, reports and statistics related to business

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Professional Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of business travel value chain (e.g. Air, Rail, Accommodation, Rental) - suppliers, booking conditions and connections, visa / entry regulations, payment habits, passenger rights etc.
  • Basic knowledge of legal local (supported country) regulations e.g. expense reimbursement regulations, working hours regulations, taxation
  • Basic knowledge of business travel industry
  • SAP HR knowledge preferred, but not mandatory

General Skills

  • Mandatory:
    • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Broad understanding of online tool functions (e.g. travel & expense tools, online EU registration)
    • Data protection according to EU standards
    • Ability to challenge / analyse existing processes / procedures / regulations in order to evaluate and improve them
  • Desirable:
    • Basic know how on reporting (e.g. travel cost, travel behaviour reports out of online tools or provided by suppliers)
    • Tool skills to visualize content e.g. for e-learnings and trainings

Language Skills

  • English C1 minimum

Personal Skills

  • Cooperation and collaboration within the team to ensure information transfer and sharing regarding specific traveler support cases as well as generally helpful information
  • Ability to handle unforeseen situations and find creative solutions in case travelers face issues during their business trips like strikes, cancellations etc.
  • Remaining calm in challenging situations with high workload and capability to organize and prioritize tasks independently
