Roles & Responsibilities

Activities Finality of the position? Identify, evaluate and control all risks: working conditions, safety of people and equipment. The impact of industrial activity on the environment? Operate the safety and environmental management system. Position dimension? Implement HSE procedures and policies in compliance with HSE Management System requirements? Raise awareness among all site personnel on compliance with HSE procedures? Main Activities? Ensure the implementation and updating of IPE related to significant energy uses. Ensure monitoring of SER, current IPE values, values of all relevant factors at predetermined intervals. Define energy targets. Adjust and compare current IPE values with SER and energy targets. Assist in defining and applying objectives for industrial risk prevention safety according to the regulatory context and site safety policy. Provide operational support to all internal departments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements. Maintain permanent monitoring of regulatory changes related to hygiene, health, safety, environment, and working conditions; analysis of regulatory, normative, and other requirement compliance and application. Monitor safety and environmental indicators and implement corrective and preventive actions necessary in case of non-achievement of objectives. Assist in establishing and implementing (with operational management) an HSE improvement program. Analyze risks related to positions and the site and implement necessary measures to control them. Update the risk analysis table and evaluate the control level. Analyze aspects/impacts and implement necessary measures to control them. Participate with different departments in the design of workstations, the choice of equipment, the definition of methods and processes that respect safety and the environment. Monitor hygiene/health/safety/environment suggestions, analyze near misses/care/accidents to determine causes and necessary corrective and preventive measures. Implement and monitor action plans in hygiene, safety, and environment. Assist in establishing, updating, and implementing procedures in hygiene, safety, and environment. Design and conduct internal training actions to raise teams' awareness of HSE risk prevention. Drive improvement actions and ensure HSE targets are met. Ensure monitoring of energy collection plans and measurement of IPE related to energy uses. Report performance and improvement suggestions to management and the energy management team. Conduct HSE self-inspections to identify and correct HSE risk situations concerning personnel and external companies, whether they are malfunctions, behaviors, or related to equipment or procedures (audits). Participate in CSST meetings, safety correspondents. Waste management in its final phase. Site safety monitoring and management. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and conventional provisions relating to occupational safety. Supervise the execution of occupational safety programs. Inspect workplaces to detect and report hazards to prevent risks and ensure the use of preventive measures. Identify causes of work accidents and present proposals to prevent them and ensure worker safety within the company. Train workers in the use of preventive equipment. Conduct awareness and preventive education dissemination among workers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Training and technical skills: Master's degree in HSE with at least 6 years of experience in a similar position. Good knowledge of the company, its processes, and work organization. Knowledge and understanding of HSE regulations. Ability to analyze risks/aspects to evaluate impacts and define action plans. Knowledge of concepts related to improving working conditions: noise pollution, risks related to electrical equipment and installations, ventilation and pollutant capture. Knowledge of collective and individual protection devices. Ability to lead first intervention and/or first aid teams. Manage priorities, especially in terms of safety. Clearly write procedures and instructions. Raise awareness and train teams. Conduct internal audits and perform subcontractor audits according to the Safering and ISO 14001 standard. Monitor indicators, report on developments, and propose improvements. Project management and planning skills. Good technical knowledge in the HSE field to effectively communicate with operational teams. Knowledge of Hutchinson's 12 essentials. Knowledge of ISO 14001 V 2015 standard. Develop and track relevant dashboards. Master UES, IPE related to its activity. Professional aptitudes: Adapt to changes. Communicate orally and in writing by adapting to different cultures. Curiosity and good synthesis skills to conduct relevant monitoring. Regulatory on HSE themes and technological innovations. Have a sense of relationships and diplomacy.
