Job description
The AML Risk Management Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for recommending/ establishing internal procedures to prevent money laundering and assist in all matters concerning financial crimes in coordination with the broader Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. The overall objective is to utilize established disciplinary knowledge to identify inconsistencies in data or result and formulate strategic recommendations on policies, procedures, and practices.
Responsibilities:
The local FIU Authority acts as a specialized analytical body that supports competent authorities by providing financial intelligence derived from operational and strategic analysis. The position (FIU correspondent) represents a focal point to achieving the Authority country wide purpose which is : 1) receiving suspicious transaction reports from reporting entities 2) conducting operational and strategic operational and strategic financial analysis 3) requesting additional information from reporting entities and competent authorities 4) disseminating intelligence to judicial and Law enforcement Authorities when reasonable grounds exist to suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or related predicate offences 5) cooperation with domestic supervisory authorities and foreign FIUs through international information exchange
- Identify, vet and address potential risks or escalated issues with the assistance of functional partners and key stakeholders
- Communicate with internal entities to incorporate findings of the AML control program
- Utilize information from regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas
- Analyze comparative data, prepare and present reports related to AML risk assessments, and monitor AML related issues and escalations
- Create and develop AML Compliance Risk Management (ACRM) standards and policies
- Synthesize/analyze risk information and advise/recommend on a plan of action
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and regulations preferred
- Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

تمثل السلطة المحلية لوحدة الاستخبارات المالية (FIU) هيئة تحليلية متخصصة تدعم السلطات المختصة من خلال توفير معلومات استخباراتية مالية مستمدة من التحليلات التشغيلية والاستراتيجية. يمثل هذا المنصب (مراسل FIU) نقطة محورية لتحقيق الهدف الوطني للسلطة، والذي يتمثل في: 1) استلام تقارير المعاملات المشبوهة من الكيانات المبلغة 2) إجراء تحليلات مالية تشغيلية واستراتيجية 3) طلب معلومات إضافية من الكيانات المبلغة والسلطات المختصة 4) نشر الاستخبارات إلى السلطات القضائية وسلطات إنفاذ القانون عند وجود أسباب معقولة للشك في غسل الأموال أو تمويل الإرهاب أو الجرائم الأصلية المرتبطة بها 5) التعاون مع السلطات الإشرافية المحلية والسلطات الأجنبية لوحدة الاستخبارات المالية من خلال تبادل المعلومات دولياً
- تحديد المخاطر المحتملة أو القضايا المتصاعدة ودراستها بمساعدة الشركاء الوظيفيين والأطراف المعنية الرئيسية
- التواصل مع الكيانات الداخلية لدمج نتائج برنامج الرقابة على مكافحة غسل الأموال
- الاستفادة من المعلومات الناتجة عن التغييرات التنظيمية واللوائح الجديدة وتغييرات السياسات الداخلية لتحديد مجالات المخاطر الرئيسية الجديدة
- تحليل البيانات المقارنة، وإعداد وعرض تقارير متعلقة بتقييمات مخاطر غسل الأموال، ومراقبة القضايا والمشكلات المتعلقة بغسل الأموال وتصاعدها
- إنشاء وتطوير معايير وسياسات إدارة مخاطر الامتثال لغسل الأموال (ACRM)
- دمج/تحليل معلومات المخاطر وتقديم المشورة/توصيات بشأن خطة العمل
- تقييم المخاطر بشكل مناسب عند اتخاذ القرارات التجارية، مع إيلاء اعتبار خاص لسمعة الشركة وحماية مجموعة سيتي وشركائها وعملائها من خلال الامتثال للقوانين واللوائح المعمول بها، والالتزام بالسياسات، وتطبيق الحكم الأخلاقي السليم فيما يتعلق بالسلوك الشخصي والممارسات التجارية، ورفع القضايا المتعلقة بالرقابة وإدارتها والإبلاغ عنها بشفافية.
المؤهلات:
- خبرة عملية من 2 إلى 5 سنوات
