Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Engineer/Manager to lead the development of a new oil/gas field. The required candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas operations, project management, and team leadership. This role requires PMP certifications, as well as a proven track record in similar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all aspects of the new oil field development project
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production and efficiency
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geology, drilling, production, and maintenance
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in petroleum engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications required
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
• Proven track record in successfully developing and managing oil field projects
• Strong knowledge of oil field operations, including drilling, production, and maintenance processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software and oil field simulation tools

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in oil field development and production
• Understanding of economic modelling and reserve estimation
