Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, business-minded, challenges lover to become our Finance Controller for our Asset Management Southern Europe business. The position will be based in Tunis and reports to the Group controller .
This position is suited for a well-rounded, experienced Finance professional who has extensive expertise in business controlling and has worked in high-performing environments where Finance played an integral role in the execution of the business strategy.
This is an ideal role if you are interested in joining an international group as a strong business partner of an international business line as well as an active part of a global finance transformation project, for the business line you will be in charge of.
What will be your scope?
In charge of the controlling of Linedata Asset Management Southern Europe, a local finance role with strong international exposure.
Your key success factors:
You have a significant experience of 8-10 years
You are a business-minded leader who has a reputation for excellence and build strong relationships based on expertise, impeccable follow-through, and strong inter-personal and teaming skills with both business and finance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare and report monthly financial statements to Corporate Headquarters.
- Ensure all financials are accurate and stated in accordance with Group Policy and IFRS.
- Provide P&L’s, additional reporting information, Business Reviews preparation to business line leadership.
- Business partnership with the leadership on bookings, revenue and cost.
- Participate in pricing strategy and pricing proposals for new and existing clients.
- Forecast sales bookings, revenue, and all costs (cost optimisation and manage recruitment forecast).
- Control the cost re-charges from offshore.
- Coordinate Intercompany Reconciliations with overseas offices.
- Actively participate and present the Budget to group management
- Analyse and comment on variances between budget and forecast.
- Participate in external audits for Southern Europe entities.
- Assist accounting team with various GL tasks (Balance Sheet reconciliations and other tasks, as needed).
- Assess controls/processes and recommend changes that are fit for purpose.
- Support and/or manage special projects and system improvements/enhancements.
- Work on Adhoc projects as and when required by the business leadership
- Review and approve Professional Services projects from financial perspective and build a close liaison with the PMO
- Improve profitability at the business line, department, client and project levels.
- Lead commission calculations and the approval process
Job Requirement
Your key success factors:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, controlling, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 8 to 10 years of progressive controlling experience.
You :

- Have a strong sense of accountability and ownership and a high-quality and continuous improvement orientation
- Be highly organized, reliable, detail oriented and a stickler for accuracy as well as impeccable ethics and personal and professional maturity
- Be highly collaborative with team spirit and have a track record for working in a matrix environment and successfully operating across organizations and levels
- Have a point of view and the confidence/courage to (appropriately) challenge assumptions, coupled with a high level of professionalism and the sophistication and finesse to push through issues while maintaining relationships, a good communicator.
- Be a logical, linear thinker, who doesn’t take things at face-value, but is also creative and can develop solutions which consider both facts and circumstances (form and substance, context and content)
- Have a growth mindset and approach with the willingness to transforming and impacting
- Have excellent French, English and Excel skills
Previous experience working for a software company or a consulting company is a great plus
