Maintains accurate supplier and article master data - Checks Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results and sends orders to suppliers - Tracks supplier deliveries, identifies bottlenecks and escalates risk of shortages - Ensures optimum stock level for raw materials and takes actions to avoid and reduce excess/obsoletes, etc. - Supports technical changes by ensuring ordering/deliveries of new components - Supports the supplier integration (localization, consignment agreements, logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation, etc.) - Develops and maintains regular contact with suppliers - Regularly reviews the supplier delivery performance evaluation - Supports the stock-take and cycle counting processes in the plant
