Activities Context and environment: This position is part of a transformation towards a more sustainable industry. The Co-design & LCA Engineer plays a key role in integrating environmental considerations into product design and development processes. Purpose of the position: Deployment of the co-design methodology, conducting LCA analyses, and providing support to internal teams and clients. Supporting the development of innovative products by integrating co-design principles and conducting life cycle assessments, in order to reduce the environmental impact of the solutions offered by Hutchinson Tunisia.

Role/Task: Perform and update LCA calculations from the RFQ phase to the end of the product's life. Under the supervision of a lead, integrate co-design principles into product innovation projects. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate co-design. Ensure the documentation and archiving of data in dedicated databases. Deploy the co-design methodology. Prepare reports and client presentations on sustainability issues. Collect the data necessary for LCA and formalize the tools used. Conduct surveys during the cost estimation and offer preparation phases. Maintain the materials database in conjunction with the Corporate Sustainability team. Manage sustainability issues with suppliers according to the Purchasing & Development strategy. To act as the point of contact for co-design with project teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Academic Level: Master's degree (BAC + 5): Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or environmental engineering

Professional Experience: 2-3 years in a similar position or related to industrial sustainability

Technical Skills: Ability to drive change and interact with all levels of the organization. Leadership in an international environment. Proficiency in, or ability to learn, recommended LCA software.

Languages: French / English
