Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic category strategies to support cost saving targets
- Develop a pipeline of savings across all our Indirect spend globally
- Lead strategic sourcing activities, including RFx development and execution, statement of work drafting, TCO analysis, negotiations, and approval.
- Keep informed on category specific industry trends and market dynamics and share information about best practices and innovative ideas with your stakeholders.
- Support working capital initiatives through effective payment term negotiation
- Negotiate best in class contracts across with an emphasis on commercial terms and conditions, risk mitigation, service delivery and quality.
- Monitor contract lifecycle and manage renewals and terminations as needed.
- Leading and managing the relationships between Vendors and business partners.
- Conduct spend analysis and market research to support procurement decisions.
- Tracking Supplier Performance and implementing improvement opportunities
- Rationalise the Supplier base where needed
- Continuous Process improvement in the procurement and vendor management processes achieving overall operational excellence
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong English Proficiency is required
- Minimum 3 years procurement or vendor experience in a related field
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Global/Multinational experience is required
- Solid track record meeting substantial cost reduction targets
- Strong negotiation skills
- Full proficiency in use of computer tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SRM/SAP and other database type tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience working under tight deadlines, with financial targets
- Comfortable working in a constant and fast changing environment
