As a Windchill Workflow Developer, you will be part of our global engineering and IT organization. You will design, implement, and optimize workflows and automations within our PTC Windchill environment creating a stable, scalable, and efficient foundation for our global PLM processes.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to continuously improve product development processes
- Develop, customize, and optimize Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and business rules
- Design, implement, and document automation solutions (e.g. change management workflows)
- Implement Java based Windchill customizations (server side code, UI customizations, Info*Engine tasks)
- Analyze process requirements and translate them into technical solution concepts
- Ensure high performance, stability, and maintainability of the Windchill platform
- Provide 3rd level support, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in the Windchill environment
- Create and maintain technical documentation of workflows and system configurations
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field
- Ideally experience with PTC Windchill, especially workflow development and lifecycle configuration
- Strong knowledge of Java, having XML, Info*Engine, and Windchill OOTB mechanisms would be an advantage
- Experience with CAD/PLM integrations (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) is an advantage
- Analytical, structured, and solution oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
