Roles & Responsibilities

The Security Expert and Shift Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of security officers, the organization of shifts, compliance with security procedures, the coordination of training, and the management of absences and replacements, thus ensuring a safe and secure environment for World Bank operations in Tunisia.

1. Supervision and Coordination of Security Agents

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security officers assigned to World Bank operations in Tunisia.

• Ensure compliance with the security guidelines and procedures established by UNDSS and the World Bank's Corporate Security Department.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify security deficiencies and propose corrective measures.

• Manage security incidents and write detailed reports.

2. Shift Organization and Scheduling

• Organize and monitor the rotations and work schedules of security officers, taking into account operational needs and staffing constraints.

• Manage leave requests and absences, and organize the necessary replacements to ensure continuous coverage.

• Optimize the use of human resources to guarantee maximum efficiency.

3. Coordination of Training and Skills Development

• Identify the training needs of security officers and coordinate the implementation of appropriate training programs.

• Ensure the updating of security officers' skills in security procedures, first aid, and the use of security equipment.

• evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and propose improvements.

4. Administrative Management and Reporting

• To ensure the administrative management of security officers, including maintaining personnel files, monitoring contracts and managing absences.

• Prepare regular reports on security activities, incidents, and the performance of security officers.

• Liaise with the UNDSS and the World Bank's Corporate Security Department to ensure compliance with applicable national regulations.
