Roles & Responsibilities
1. Technical enablement & expertise
- Evaluate, set up, and maintain a best-in-class citizen development toolkit for automation/RPA and AI (especially Microsoft Power Platform and 365 Copilot) to be used by business users.
- Provide technical guidance and support to community members on solution design, architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Support business users in translating their needs into scalable and robust technical solutions.
- Beware of existing citizen dev solutions and business needs.
- Proactively help in transferring solutions to areas where it makes sense.
- Review, curate, and expand our internal citizen developer tools, a to-be-created solution marketplace, ensuring quality, reusability, and compliance with standards.
- Contribute to a to-be-created Citizen Dev Knowledge Hub with technical best practices, documentation, blueprints, and how-to content.
- Continuously identify and introduce new technologies and approaches that can scale across the company.
- Act as a thought leader by exploring emerging AI/automation trends and translating them into practical solutions for the business in the context of citizen development.
2. Community building, change & adoption
- Engage, inspire, and grow our (just-starting) global AI and Citizen Dev Community.
- Design, organize, and run community initiatives such as global challenges, dashboards, expert-sharing sessions, office hours, and community meetups.
- Develop and maintain a Knowledge Hub with best practices, FAQs, success stories, and training resources.
- Design and deliver training programs for employees (from executives to citizen developers) to improve AI literacy, citizen development skills, and prompt engineering, either by yourself or with external partners.
- Collect user feedback and translate it into actionable improvements for tools, processes, and training.
- Continuously innovate and improve how we communicate AI and Citizen Dev transformation and foster engagement.
- Act as a culture champion, promoting change adoption and storytelling that inspires people to see themselves as part of the transformation.
3. Collaboration between business, IT & AI
- Besides with your internal business users and citizen developers, you work closely with AI Engineers, IT Professionals, and your peer AI Community Enabler to ensure seamless support for business users.
- Bridge the gap between business and IT by clarifying and assessing business requests and requirements for AI and automation use cases
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Power BI) and Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Experience with RPA tools and intelligent automation (MS Power Automate, plus awareness of other tools and their limitations).
- Solid understanding and broad knowledge of Generative AI and GenAI tools (especially MS 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat).
- Experience with GPT4All, open-source tools, ChatGPT (Enterprise), agentic AI is a plus.
- Basic understanding and experience with programming languages and scripting, especially Python and VBA; experience working with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ), APIs and relational/non-relational databases is a plus.
- Experience working with business users and translating their needs into technical solutions.
- Good communicator and storyteller, both verbal and written, with a knack for making complex topics feel simple and actionable.
- Empathetic mindset with strong user-centric thinking, especially when it comes to technology and change.
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills (e.g., running workshops, meetups, or training sessions).
- Motivation for change management, digital adoption, internal communications, or community building.
- Curious, self-driven, and eager to continuously improve, experiment, and learn new tools.
- Experience with workflow and data automation tools (e.g. KNIME).
- Experience in scaling solutions and driving automation/AI programs at scale.
- Experience with design thinking, user journey mapping, or internal communication strategy.
- Knowledge about governance topics (responsible AI, data ethics, GDPR).
- Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or AI/Automation tools.
