Defines and prioritizes the cutting order and redistributes the machine workload (e.g. because of preventive or unplanned maintenance affected machines must be redistributed). Builds an urgent optimization, (if required e.g. in case of urgent request of customer, unavailability, utilization, or lack of material availability). Checks the existing databases (e. g. Cutting Area Optimization (CAO), FORS, etc. for missing data e.g. crimp data, routing, tools, etc.). Identifies and conducts continuous improvement activities in the area of responsibility. Routes and prioritizes the order distribution to production lines and workstations after receiving the required plan from Value Chain Management. Moves orders within the sequence to accommodate urgent orders, missing material impact etc. Creates required reports for order completion e. g. On Time, In Full data (OTIF). Monitors plan adherence and escalates deviations to supervisor. Initiates plan changes if required due to external factors (Urgent customer orders/ Missing material/resources/equipment). Participates and supports the regular meetings on schedule adherence with all involved functions i. e. shift leader, segment leader, Value Chain Management.
