Within the IT department of Safran Electrical & Power, the OT Engineer integrates the Industrial Information System competence center and actively contributes to the digital transformation of industrial sites in an Industry 4.0 context. He intervenes on a key challenge for the group: the connectivity of industrial equipment (OT). In this capacity, he ensures the implementation of connection solutions, the definition of data to be captured, as well as data collection and exploitation, while respecting cybersecurity requirements and OT standards.
Main missions:
- Define and apply technical standards for connecting industrial equipment according to group standards and cybersecurity requirements
- Design, deploy, and maintain connectivity solutions for industrial systems
- Implement digital solutions to optimize the performance of industrial means (monitoring, maintenance, drift management)
- Identify data to be collected and define connection plans in line with business needs
- Ensure data collection and exploitation via supervision and analysis tools (MES, MCS, etc.)
- Contribute to upstream studies during the installation of new equipment (automation, supervision, connectivity)
- Participate in industrial digital transformation projects related to Industry 4.0
- Implement supervision tools for systems and incidents
- Coordinate local industrial IT projects (cybersecurity, obsolescence, deployment)
- Animate and support the OT engineer community
- Coordinate internal and external teams
- Contribute to the connectivity of robotic cells and automated lines
Context:
- Position based at the Dhari site (Tunisia)
- Multi-site scope (France and international: Niort, Méru, Chatou, Conflans, Loches)
- Occasional travel (4-6 weeks per year)

Desired Candidate Profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent in industrial IT
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Windows environments and computer/industrial networks
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Skills in embedded electronics
- Good level of industrial cybersecurity knowledge
- Knowledge of supervision systems (SCADA, MES, MCS)
- Rigor, organizational skills, and autonomy
