Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Marketing Specialist to own and drive Venari's go-to-market strategy. This is a pivotal hire at an exciting stage of the company's growth. You will build and lead our marketing function, working closely with the CEO and sales team to generate demand, build brand authority, and position Venari as the definitive voice in quantum-safe security and encrypted traffic analysis.
This is a hands-on role suited to a builder, someone equally comfortable crafting a content strategy as they are analysing pipeline data or presenting at an industry event.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Positioning
- Own and evolve Venari's brand identity, messaging, and value proposition across all channels.
- Develop compelling narratives around quantum security, crypto-agility, and regulatory compliance that resonate with CISOs, risk officers, and compliance teams.
- Represent Venari at industry conferences, webinars, and media engagements Lead Generation & AI Automation.
Demand Generation & Pipeline
- Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, paid, organic, events, partnerships) to drive qualified pipeline.
- Collaborate with sales to align marketing activity to revenue targets and buyer stages.
- Manage and optimise marketing qualified lead (MQL) flow and conversion metrics.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Lead the creation of high-quality content including white papers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and the company's 'State of Encryption' report series.
- Build Venari's thought leadership presence across LinkedIn, industry publications, and relevant analyst communities.
- Translate complex technical concepts (PKI, TLS, PQC, NIST standards) into accessible and persuasive content for business audiences.
Digital & Product Marketing
- Manage the company website, SEO strategy, and digital advertising programmes.
- Develop product marketing materials including solution briefs, pitch decks, and competitive battle cards to support the sales team.
- Run product launch campaigns and coordinate go-to-market activities for new features and partnerships.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, measure, and report on marketing performance metrics including CAC, MQL volume, content engagement, and pipeline contribution.
- Use data insights to continuously refine and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure strong return on investment.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and building brand awareness in complex technical markets.
- Strong content creation skills you can write clearly and persuasively for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
- Hands-on digital marketing experience: SEO, SEM, social media, email, and paid campaigns.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, PKI, TLS/SSL, or post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
- Experience marketing to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or critical national infrastructure.
- Prior experience in a scale-up or growth-stage environment.
- Understanding of NIST frameworks, NCSC guidelines, or GDPR/compliance-driven sales cycles.
