Roles & Responsibilities

Providing professional and attentive service to clients while collaborating effectively with colleagues and adhering to hotel standards.

  • Ensure the quality and conformity of dishes by following recipes, monitoring the preparation and presentation of food, while reducing food waste.
  • Work closely with the team, informing members about objectives and respecting safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage the preparation of pastries and desserts, including their setup, distribution and presentation at banquets and buffets.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and the development of new products while respecting kitchen and food safety standards and policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possess at least 1 year of experience in pastry and a diploma or certificate in pastry is mandatory.

  • Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows applications, are an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • To be autonomous, responsible and reliable, capable of working under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while remaining focused on customer needs and staying calm and courteous.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and balanced work environment.
