Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the engineering department, coordinate with other departments in an efficient way, and provide the department with the material supply.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Coordinate and respond to telephone requests from guests and general work requests, direct and dispatch work assignments to engineering craft workers via telephone and HotSos ;


2. Maintain certain inventory and supplies of the engineering department used to effect the operation of the entire hotel; maintain records and file on all mandatory systems, such as preventive maintenance, work requests, fire brigade logs, company truck, etc..


3. Coordinate with the purchasing department for the Engineering supplies and orders


4. Clerical and administrative duties for projects.


5. Type monthly energy reports and engineering file.


6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and store rooms at all times


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


Education: High school education or equivalent experience


Experience: Experience required by position is from 1 to 2


years of employment in the related position with


Four Seasons or other organization.


Skills and Abilities: Requires a working technical knowledge of


general building maintenance.


Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-


Job or through a series of professional certifications.


Requires knowledge of the ability to operate


computer equipment.


Ability to read and speak, and write English.
