Mission : reporting the plant manager , being a member of the management team of the plant , you are in charge of one large APU ( Autonomous Production Unit ) in a context of fast pace growth , in a complex technical environment , meaning that you ,

- are putting yourself as the leader of your teams including the technical support and quality functions reporting to the APU for guiding all of them to reach Quality , Safety , Productivity

- involve / develop your people to work by the standards , tools , systems , coming from corporate , including basics like 5S , QRQC , … contributing to the building of a strong continuous improvement culture while the plant is evolving

- are yourself close to the field to be a “model” showing the directions , implementing the quality & safety culture , and supporting the production at all level through your teams , with a focus on problem solving attitude

- are open to the technical field , mainly plastics injection equipment & process , even though we do not want an expert here , plus assembly

- engage your teams in the growth by training them , recruiting , developing and retaining the best of them

- manage your production searching for performance , productivity , going for initiative in a well balanced way by having both the global picture and the shop floor presence , to organize , manage , anticipate , together with your people

- interact with the plant management , contribute to strategy and plan , from all aspects that can impact the plant growth , its organization , including the clients aspects , the economical and people dimensions … as you are driving these indicators in your APU too

Profile :

Leader & Manager in complex high tech environment

- engineering education , generalist , mechanical , plastics , logistics … minimum level bachelor

- significant experience in production , operations ( 15 years +) within a multinational company , with exposure in automotive specificities , standards , culture , tools , … in a reference automotive company , tier one , OEM , …

- successful experience in managing teams in operations , in a role of production manager , APU manager , … could be also logistics / supply chain manager , Maintenance , excellence / lean or planning , even quality depending on the type of experience and context

- well trained to automotive most advanced standards , systems , tools , from the basics to modern approach in problem solving

- leader in a lean management way for all aspects in the day to day

- strong effective quality culture ; showing some interest in the product & process even if not expert ; knowledge of plastics injection is a plus

- just with your people , driving them in a win-win attitude to make them proud to contribute to a successful story
