<br>RINA is currently recruiting for a Northern Africa Renewables Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Tunis within the Power Project Management Division.<br>Mission<br>The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for executing and leading projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget. The Project Manager stands at the center of a complex set of relationships among the client, RINA, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors who deliver the elements of the project. The skill of balancing the demands and expectations of these groups lies at the heart of a successful project. The Project Manager is accountable for obtaining and managing adequate resources to meet all project objectives in the most efficient and effective manner.<br>Key Accountabilities<br>1. Project Management:<br>- Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.<br>- Define project tasks and resource requirements.<br>- Create and maintain project schedules.<br>2. Client Interaction:<br>- Act as the primary point of contact between the consulting engineering firm and the client.<br>- Understand client requirements and expectations.<br>- Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients.<br>3. Team Management:<br>- Assemble and lead a project team.<br>- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.<br>- Motivate and manage team members to achieve project goals.<br>4. Risk Management:<br>- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.<br>- Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.<br>6. Quality Assurance:<br>- Ensure that the project meets quality standards and client expectations.<br>- Implement and enforce quality control processes.<br>7. Contract Management:<br>- Understand and manage contract terms and conditions.<br>- Ensure that the project complies with contractual obligations.<br>8. Communication:<br>- Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.<br>- Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.<br>9. <p>Assist the Director of Finance in managing all financial aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and corporate policies and procedures, supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Office, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial controls and reporting processes, and helping ensure the efficient and effective operation of the hotel's finance function.</p><p>Lead, mentor, and supervise the Finance team by providing coaching, training, performance management, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce. Conduct regular department meetings, support career growth initiatives, and maintain high team morale and retention. Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of accounting processes and financial activities. Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal departments, while providing regular updates to the Director of Finance on financial performance, operational results, key initiatives, and any issues requiring attention. Ensure adherence to company policies, work rules, and standards of conduct, while planning and managing finance-related projects and initiatives. Support recruitment efforts, evaluate employee performance, and take appropriate personnel actions to build and maintain a strong Finance team. Manage and oversee the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with USALI, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and corporate financial reporting standards. Support the Director of Finance in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, tax reporting, and financial compliance. Maintain strong internal controls, ensure adherence to corporate policies and accounting procedures, and safeguard the integrity of financial transactions and records. Coordinate internal and external audits, oversee statutory and regulatory reporting, and ensure compliance with management agreements, fee calculations, banking procedures, and payment authorization requirements. Monitor financial risks and maintain accurate and compliant financial operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy. Support inventory controls, cash management, and cross-functional financial activities while ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the Accounting function. Monitor and control hotel expenses to support profitability and operational efficiency, while assisting the Director of Finance with budgeting and forecasting activities. Oversee house funds, cash floats, and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate recording of depreciation, asset disposals, and related gains or losses, while maintaining compliance with financial policies and safeguarding the hotel's assets.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>University degree major in accounting or finance preferred; exception must be approved by Senior Vice President, Operations Finance</p><p>From three to five years of experience in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and accountability. Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, internal policies and procedures, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, deliver presentations, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
