In Tunisia, UNFPA works closely with the government and civil society to expand access to high-quality sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights (SRHR), eliminate gender-based violence (GBV), support data-driven population dynamics (such as utilizing data from the general population census), and empower young people.</p><p><br></p><p>This UNV assignment is an integral part of UNFPA Tunisia’s communication strategy. <p><font dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;"><font dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;">You will be responsible for the production and control of P&L and cash entries and statements for Credit activities, accounting/management and bank reconciliations, and the documentation of N1/N2 controls in accordance with the accounting control plan. You will ensure adherence to the closing schedule (J+X). Your responsibilities will include: recording loan transactions and associated cash flows; verifying data quality and investigating exceptions; performing reconciliations (EY GL vs EY DP/ABOR) and bank reconciliations; and preparing adjustments as needed. You will extract and utilize the general ledger/batch-level journal for analytical controls and reviews. You will prepare the Credit summary report and contribute to responses to statutory auditors. You will also contribute to the default/watchlist committee (providing lists of unpaid/doubtful accounts and their accounting impacts). KPIs: adherence to J+X milestones; reconciliation rate without discrepancies; execution rate of the accounting control plan; exception resolution time. Operational reporting to the Credit Production Manager within the Dexia Finance platform. Hierarchical reporting to the EY Business Unit Manager.
