<p>Currently we are looking for a Project Engineerin Tunis, Tunisia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision –<strong>Improving our future.</strong> As our Project Engineer you will be responsible for all the technical deliverables from project structuring through to technical handover on the photovoltaic works for a dedicated Scatec project, or portfolio of linked projects.</p><br> <p><strong>Main responsibilities</strong> </p><br> <p><strong>Support to Structuring Phase of projects</strong></p><br> <p>During the structuring phase, the Project Engineer has several key functions: </p><br> <ul>
<li>Review and approval of technical supply contracts ensuring that the Plant is technically compliant with the PPA, Grid Code and other critical project documents</li>
<li>Monitoring and facilitating the review of the Contractors detailed design, ensuring compliance with Scatec functional requirements, site and permit and licensing conditions, local codes and industry best practice</li>
<li>Ensuring that the project programme is reasonable and accurately considers the detailed Design Timeline, key equipment procurement and allowance for commissioning, testing and local Grid Connection requirements. </li>
<li>Manage and interface with contractors and equipment suppliers to establish, negotiate and align all technical aspects / approvals of the project.</li>
<li>Manage the complete Utility interface process on behalf of Scatec from approval of detailed design, through construction, and completion under the Grid Connection Agreement / PPA</li>
<li>Assist the PTM to establish and mitigate technical risks through an effective and updated Risk Register.</li>
</ul> <p><strong>Support to projects in delivery/execution</strong></p><br> <p>As the project moves into execution, the Project Engineer’s role is a continuation and development on the above: </p><br> <ul>
<li>Manage and assess design change requests</li>
<li>Manage, clarify and agree interfaces towards the grid and the grid operator</li>
<li>Management of Governmental/Public/Grid Operator Stakeholders with approval process related to technical documentation and permits, licenses, authorizations, concessions needed during the execution of the HV scope until COD.</li>
<li>Provide early warnings to the PTM on any issues in the project that may influence connection dates or the quality of the final product</li>
<li>Contribute to drafting the relevant project reports </li>
<li>Establish the plant commissioning and utility compliance plans and procedures.</li>
<li>Plan and manage the Grid Code Compliance tests on site.</li>
<li>Support in project close out phase by preparing and gathering technical documents as needed to achieve TTO on time</li>
<li>Local testing and commissioning and coordination with utility and LTA or IE on the testing and commissioning.</li>

<li>Master’s degree in in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronical or Electromechanical Engineering</li>

<li>5+ year of Project Engineering experience in construction projects with Sub Stations and Transmission Lines</li>
<li>Previous experience of handling communication with local utilities and other relevant authorities and stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience with design and construction of solar plants</li>
<li>Knowledge of Tunisian Grid Code and HV Regulations</li>
<li>Fluent in both English and French</li>
