<br><p><strong>About this opportunity:</strong></p><br><br><p><br>We are looking for a skilled and motivated RAN Network Engineer to support the deployment, optimization, performance, and maintenance of mobile radio access networks. In this role, you will ensure optimal coverage, capacity, quality, and customer experience across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve network performance, troubleshoot complex radio issues, implement new features, and support network evolution initiatives.</p><br><br><br><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><br><br><p><br>• Plan, deploy, integrate, and optimize 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G RAN networks. <br>• Configure radio parameters, neighbor relations, and mobility settings. <br>• Support site integration, commissioning, cluster acceptance, and network rollout activities. <br>• Monitor and optimize RAN KPIs including accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput. <br>• Perform coverage, capacity, and interference optimization. <br>• Conduct root cause analysis for call drops, congestion, low throughput, and network performance issues. <br>• Implement RAN parameter changes, feature activations, and software upgrades through OSS platforms. <br>• Support and optimize technologies such as VoLTE, VoNR, Carrier Aggregation (CA), DSS, MIMO, SON, and beamforming. <br>• Analyze traffic trends and recommend capacity expansion strategies, including carrier additions and spectrum refarming. <br>• Execute drive tests, benchmarking activities, and post-implementation validations. <br>• Collaborate with Core, IMS, EPC, 5GC, Transmission, and IP teams to resolve end-to-end service issues. <br>• Ensure configuration consistency and compliance with change management processes. <br>• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. </p><br><br><br><p><strong>The skills you bring:</strong></p><br><br><p><br>• Radio Network Design and Optimization. <br>• LTE and 5G NR Technologies. <br>• RAN Performance Management. <br>• KPI Analysis and Troubleshooting. <br>• Network Deployment and Integration. <br>• Coverage and Capacity Optimization. <br>• Root Cause Analysis. <br>• OSS Platforms (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia). <br>• Drive Test Tools (TEMS, Nemo, SwissQual). <br>• VoLTE and VoNR Optimization. <br>• Change and Configuration Management. <br>• Automation and Scripting (Python is a plus). <br>• Data Analytics and Reporting. <br>• Service Delivery and Customer Focus. <br>• Stakeholder Management. <br>• Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration. <br>• Cloud-RAN and Open RAN Awareness. </p><br><br><br><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><br><br><p><br>• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. <br>• Experience working with 2G, 3G, 4G, and/or 5G RAN environments. <br>• Experience in radio optimization, performance management, and network troubleshooting. <br>• LTE, 5G, RF Planning, or Optimization certifications are an advantage. </p><br><br><br><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><br><br><p><br>• Experience with SON (Self-Organizing Networks). <br>• Knowledge of Cloud-RAN and Open RAN architectures. <br>• Python or other automation/scripting experience. <br>• Exposure to IMS, EPC, 5GC, and end-to-end VoLTE troubleshooting. <br>• Experience in multi-vendor network environments.</p><br><br><p><strong>Why join Ericsson?</strong>At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
