Senior AI Product Engineer

Remote - Tunisia - Tunis 7 August 2026

Telecom & Technology

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Description Smeetz is an AI-powered unified commerce platform for the European leisure and entertainment industry. Theme parks, family entertainment centres, museums, zoos, and theatres run their ticketing, seating, F&B, and payments on us. This role owns our two AI surfaces: the Smeetz MCP server and the AI chatbot. You own them end to end. You talk to the venues using them, you decide what to build next, you write the production code, and you watch what happens once it is live. There is no product manager between you and that decision. Reports to the VP of Engineering. No direct reports. The authority in this role is over a surface area, not over people. Key responsibilities A product engineer owns a piece of the product end to end: choosing what to build, building it, and improving it once real customers are using it. Here that piece is our AI surfaces. Own the Smeetz MCP server and the AI chatbot. Both are yours end to end: the tool surface, the agent behaviour, and the guardrails on what they are allowed to do. Decide what to build next. Run discovery on your own area. Talk to venue operators, read the traces, pick the work, write the spec yourself, ship it, then measure it. Own reliability and performance. Latency, error rates, and the call patterns clients actually generate. You get full observability data to work from and the mandate to act on it. Build the eval layer. Make prompt and model changes measurable before they ship, not after a customer notices. Write things down. The surfaces you own should be understandable by the next engineer without you in the room. Documentation sits in your objectives, not in the gap at the end of a sprint. Raise the bar on AI-native delivery. Extend our shared Claude Code skill library so the rest of engineering ships the way you do. A published dual career ladder. Grow to Staff AI Product Engineer without becoming a manager, on pay bands comparable to the management track. Full ownership of two AI surfaces that are core product, not a side project. Direct contact with the venue operators who use what you build. Modern AI-native tooling: Claude Code with a shared internal skill library. Fully remote position. Competitive salary based on experience. Band to confirm. Professional requirements Minimum 5 years shipping production code, including at least one system you owned end to end with the on-call that comes with it. Minimum 2 years building LLM features that reached real users: tool calling, structured outputs, evals, cost and latency control, and the failure modes that only appear in production. Prototypes do not count. Demonstrated expertise in an AI-native SDLC. You work in Claude Code or an equivalent agentic environment every day, and you build your own skills, hooks, and automations rather than using AI as autocomplete. Be ready to show what you automated and what it replaced. Experience designing an API or tool surface for agents rather than for humans: naming, granularity, and error messages a model can recover from without a human stepping in. You run discovery yourself. Bring customer conversations you led, specs you wrote, and success metrics you set and were measured against. Fluent in English. Additional preferred skills Langfuse, or another LLM observability tool such as LangSmith, Braintrust, or Phoenix. Ours is Langfuse and it is already wired into the MCP server. The MCP specification itself, beyond having used it as a client. The Anthropic Claude API and tool use. Most of what we build sits on Claude. Retrieval and evals over a support knowledge base. Intercom Fin experience is directly relevant. Guardrails for agents with write access: permissions, confirmation steps, prompt injection, PII. French or German. Personal attributes Owner: Defaults to ownership. The surface works because you are in the seat. AI-native: Lives inside Claude and agents. Treats AI as leverage, not as a side project. Product-minded: Starts from the operator's problem, not from the ticket. Decisive: Kills their own ideas and can say what they gave up and why. Writer: Leaves the codebase better documented than they found it. At ease in ambiguity: There is no groomed backlog for this area. That is the appeal, not the problem. Measured: Defines success before building and accepts the number. </div>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Mindrift is looking for skilled Full-Stack Web App Developers (JavaScript/TypeScript + Python or Node) to join the Tendem project (https://tendem. ai/) and build interactive browser-based applications for real-world use cases. In this role, you'll apply your full-stack engineering expertise to design, build, and maintain functional, robust, and user-friendly web applications. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases, and shipping interactive web products end-to-end. What We Do The Mindrift platform connects specialists with innovative technology projects. Our mission is to help develop high-quality AI technologies by combining real-world expertise from professionals across the globe with advanced AI development efforts. About the Role This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As a Full-Stack Web App Developer, you'll design, build, and refine browser-based applications with real logic, state, persistence, and user input — from habit trackers and budgeting tools to internal dashboards, mini-SaaS tools, and AI-powered apps. You may also work on standalone Python applications and data-processing scripts that sit alongside or behind these products. Key Responsibilities Build interactive web applications with frontend (React, Next. js, Vue, or similar) and a backend API (Python/FastAPI/Flask or Node/Express). Design and implement data models, schemas, and persistence layers using SQL (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL stores. Implement authentication, sessions, and basic role-based access where needed. Integrate third-party APIs and AI/LLM services (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into product features. Handle state management, user input validation, error states, and loading states cleanly. Build standalone Python tools and scripts where required by the task (data processing, API clients, lightweight backend utilities). Review, debug, optimize, and refactor full-stack applications to improve correctness, security, performance, and maintainability. Write clear, testable code and debug end-to-end issues across frontend, backend, and database. Educational qualifications At least 3 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development or shipping interactive web applications (required). Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields is a plus. Academic and/or Professional Experience Candidates should have a strong foundation in full-stack web development, modern frontend frameworks, backend architecture, and building interactive browser-based applications end-to-end. We are looking for specialists who can confidently work across frontend, backend, databases, and APIs, design robust application logic, and build production-ready web applications. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently architect and ship complete features are essential. Technical Skills (Essential) Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next. js, Vue, Svelte, or similar). Solid backend experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and/or Node. js (Express, NestJS). Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) and basic schema design. Experience implementing REST APIs, request validation, error handling, and authentication flows. Familiarity with deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, Render, Fly. io, Railway, or similar). Experience integrating LLM APIs or other AI services into product features is a strong plus. Comfortable with version control (Git) and basic testing practices. Additional requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to building working, robust products — not demos. Self-directed work ethic with the ability to architect, build, and ship features independently. Portfolio of shipped web applications (required). English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required). Project time expectations For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Please submit your CV in English and indicate your level of English proficiency. Mindrift connects specialists with project-based AI opportunities for leading tech companies, focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. Participation is project-based, not permanent employment. About the Role You’ll design coding tasks that challenge frontier AI coding agents. Each task is a self-contained Docker environment with a broken piece of software; an AI agent attempts the fix; automated tests verify the outcome. Your deliverable is the full task package: broken code, tests, instructions, and a reference solution proving the task is solvable. Responsibilities : Invent a realistic developer scenario — a real bug, a broken ETL, a missing feature — not a toy problem. Build a reproducible Docker environment with pinned dependencies. Write a pytest that verifies outcomes, not specific commands — deterministic, non-flaky, and does not leak the fix. Write an instruction. md that reads like a Jira ticket a developer would receive. Write a reference solve. sh proving the task is solvable. Calibrate difficulty so current state-of-the-art agents solve the task 20–60% of the time. Iterate based on feedback from expert QA reviewers. Later: review other authors’ tasks as a QA reviewer. Not in scope Data labeling, prompt engineering. Production code to ship — you design problems and verification for AI agents. Leetcode puzzles — scenarios must look like real developer work. Not every candidate task ships — quality over quantity. Requirements 3+ years of production software development in one backend stack — Python, Go, Node. js, Java, or Rust. Depth in one stack beats breadth. Python + pytest fluency — required regardless of primary stack. The task harness is pytest-based even when the broken app is in another language. Fixtures, parametrize, monkeypatch, timeouts, conftest. py. Docker authoring — reproducible Dockerfiles, pinned dependencies, multi-stage builds when needed, non-root user. Linux & Bash — comfort debugging inside containers (strace, lsof, journalctl); shell beyond set -euo pipefail. AI coding agent experience — Claude Code, Cursor, Roo Code, or similar, on non-trivial work. You can cite a specific time the AI was confidently wrong and how you caught it. English — B2+ written. Not a fit Data Science, ML, or Computer Vision engineers without backend-engineering output. Manual QA testers without automation or test authoring. Frontend-only, low-code / no-code, IT Support, or Business Analysts. Engineers who have never written pytest from scratch. Junior, intern, or assistant as the most recent role. Preferred qualifications Domain depth in Security, System Administration (nginx / systemd / cron), Scientific Computing (NumPy / PyTorch / SciPy), DevOps, or Git internals. Modern Python tooling (uv, poetry, pyproject. toml). Coverage tooling (pytest-cov, coverage. py, gcov, llvm-cov, kcov). Fuzzing or property-based testing (Hypothesis). Prior contribution to agent-evaluation benchmarks or related frameworks. Process Apply → Pass qualification (90-minute sample-task screen + short behavioral interview) → Join a project → Complete tasks → Get paid. Time commitment Onboarding: ~10 hours per first task. Steady state: ~5 hours per task, 2–4 parallel tasks per author. Realistic weekly load: 8–20 hours. Higher volume available for top performers. You choose when and how to contribute; tasks must be submitted by the deadline and meet acceptance criteria. Compensation: Paid contributions, rates up to $35/hour *. Task-based compensation equivalent to hourly rate, depending on performance and volume. Some projects include incentive payments. *Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be provided to highly specialized experts. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment details are shared per project. Apply Submit your CV via the Mindrift platform. Indicate your English level, note this role (Software Engineering Evaluation Specialist — Terminal Bench), and include a GitHub profile link if available. </div>
