<p>We are searching for an individual or an organization based in Africa (Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Republic), Democratic Republic of Congo (D. R. C), Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, Togo and Tunisia) with a social compliance background to work with our Client Services team on a freelance or consultancy basis (part-time) and help us effectively collaborate with and service a diverse portfolio of clients and their suppliers in the aforementioned countries. With a workers rights and supplier engagement background, and a keen interest and capacity for the use of technology, we are looking for a candidate that will engage with workers, suppliers and brands in the aforementioned countries to drive meaningful impact. Working with the Client Services team, they will be responsible for introducing our digital worker engagement programs to suppliers (both virtually and on site when possible), getting management buy-in, training management on the platform usage, engaging with workers and promoting participation, managing grievance cases, and liaising between all stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for all. The role will require flexibility and agility to take on various tasks and work remotely with a global team. The role will require some evening meetings to communicate with the team based in Canada and Europe. If the role sounds like a good fit for you, we d love to hear from you.</p><p>What you ll do:</p><ul><li>Lead the deployment of digital worker voice programs in workplaces in French Speaking African Nations.</li><li>Lead supplier platform training and technical support</li><li>Lead case management of grievances in programs that have a digital grievance mechanism - liaising and collaborating with suppliers and brands</li><li>Be available for investigation and remediation support if requested by brands</li><li>Support the development and updating of supplier and worker onboarding materials</li><li>Own regular communication with supplier management - from program introduction to status check-ins</li><li>Liaise with internal stakeholders including the Director of Client Services, Client Services Senior Managers and Managers and Deployment Team to ensure effective deployment</li><li>Gather client and supplier feedback and ideas to inform platform advancements</li></ul><p><em>Note: Each project has its unique scope of work. While not directly managing project implementation staff, the Project lead is responsible for ensuring coordination of approaches for impactful and efficient programmes. This will be accomplished through coordination and allocation of resources from the implementing partners. The role will also involve high level representation with key policy making stakeholders and donors. Your main duties and responsibilities will be: Program: • Lead inception phase fine-tuning of approaches related to all 5 outputs of the DAPP project in Tunisia and in consultation with what is being planned in other countries • Support in the selection of strategic partners for the programme • Coordinating programme delivery in close collaboration with in-country partners • Oversee budget expenditures and advise on budget reallocation needs if required • Record and report on program progress (activity + finance) as required by the DAPP secretariat in Denmark • Lead the development and implementation of the DAPP Tunisia exit strategy in close collaboration with implementing partners, the DAPP Secretariat, and relevant stakeholders Quality Assurance: • Develop and implement country level MEAL tools and report as required to DAPP secretariat in Copenhagen • Quality assure country results and activities • Working closely with MERL unit to advice on recommendations for acceleration projects • Coordinate and shar learning with relevant partners in Tunisia and with other country program as required • Advise on inclusion of gender equality in Partners programming.
