<p>POSITION SUMMARY The Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of the hotel's interior and exterior surfaces through painting, touch-ups, wall repairs, and decorative finishes. The role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Respond and attend to hotel painting requests. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers. Paint, stain, varnish, and finish walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and other hotel surfaces. Perform touch-up painting in guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, restaurants, and meeting areas. Coordinate work schedules to minimize disruption to hotel guests and operations. Assist the Engineering/Maintenance team with general maintenance tasks when required. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
