<br>Job Description<br><br><p><strong>Key missions of the position:</strong></p><br><p>We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in the Troubleshooting of field complaint and perform installation, commissioning and maintenance of Wabtec systems. The candidate will require to have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and Pneumatic circuit diagrams, electronic components, and their working principles. This role requires hands-on experience in trou</p><br><p>bleshooting, repairing of Electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.</p><br><p><strong>Roles and responsibility are as below:</strong></p><br><p><strong>Production Support</strong>: Assist in the Installation, commissioning, Testing of Wabtec system/Product in the rolling stock</p><br><p><strong>Field Complaint Resolution</strong>: Troubleshoot and resolve the field complaints related to Wabtec systems, providing timely resolution and closure of the complaints. Such requirement relates to troubleshooting the Mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatic or maintenance related issues and relacing the defective part to close the complaint within the contractual timelines.</p><br><p><strong>Installation and Commissioning</strong>: Support the installation and commissioning of the Wabtec product and performing the required testing. Enabling customer to perform the task in a right manner if needed.</p><br><p><strong>Retrofit, Maintenance and Repairs</strong>: Perform retrofit, regular maintenance and emergency repairs on Wabtec products inline with procedure and site requirement.</p><br><p><strong>Reporting and Documentation</strong>: Report and record the field interventions performed by himself and associated team. The service engineer would require making a report of the issue and also get the Joint notes or associated document as needed by customer contract. Daily, weekly and Monthly reports to be submitted to manager.</p><br><p><strong>NCR and Failed Part Management</strong>: Maintain accountability for Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), maintain consumed spares/Failed part and site spares data. Organizing the dispatch of the defective parts from site to plant in co-ordination with plant team.</p><br><p><strong>Customer Interaction</strong>: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide clear explanations of the work performed. Analyze work requests (parts, mechanical environment, vehicle technical constraints, etc.) and identify potential challenges (problems, inconsistencies, major difficulties). Have an excellent command of plastic injection molding and its constraints. Design 3D models using Catia V5 or Siemens NX , with strong expertise in Part Design and Generative Shape Design , considering: Styling surfaces (design and functional parts). The variation of injected parts within their mechanical environment (defining fixed points and reference systems). Thickness optimization and technical integration of parts into their mechanical environment. Surface stitching, surface updates, and technical edge refinements to prevent shrinkage. Demoldability rules, including integrating slide movements into the mold, especially for complex parts (a plus). Positioning, securing, and assembling techniques for plastic parts. Mastery of joining and fitting techniques (butt joint, overlap, step joints, etc.). Proximity analysis and potential clash detection between parts. Knowledge and mastery of PLM tools would be an asset. Oversee part and/or system development up to 2D drawing production ( Catia V5 Drawing ), ensuring functional dimensioning for internal and supplier requirements. Collaborate closely with suppliers of injected plastic parts for mold development.</p></div></section>
