These systems are hosted either within FIS data centers or at customer-managed locations.</p><br><p>The team is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence across customer environments while providing expert support for business-critical applications and infrastructure.</p><br><p><b><u>What You Will Be Doing:</u></b></p><br><ul><li>Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise application environments running on Microsoft Windows Server platforms.</li><li>Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure reliable service delivery.</li><li>Investigate and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and production incidents.</li><li>Design and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.</li><li>Plan and execute operating system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements.</li><li>Support and troubleshoot database-related issues impacting application performance and stability.</li><li>Develop and maintain scripts, automated workflows, and job scheduling processes.</li><li>Monitor and resolve issues involving batch processing, file transfers, and scheduled operations.</li><li>Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, vendors, and customer teams to deliver effective technical solutions.</li><li>Contribute to incident, problem, and change management activities while driving continuous service improvements.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to team members.</li><li>Coordinate and support projects impacting customer environments, ensuring successful implementation and minimal operational disruption.</li></ul><p><b><u>Required Qualifications</u></b></p><br><ul><li>Experience administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments.</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise applications in production or customer-facing environments.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across application, system, and infrastructure layers.</li><li>Knowledge of networking fundamentals, network infrastructure, and diagnostic methodologies.</li><li>Experience with secure file transfer technologies, including SFTP, FTPS, and related protocols.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, network engineering, security, and application support.</li><li>Experience managing technical initiatives from planning through implementation.</li><li>Experience administering and supporting Microsoft IIS environments.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>You will participate in a rotating on-call support schedule, typically one week per month, including weekend coverage. During on-call periods, team members provide support for critical issues outside normal business hours to ensure the continued availability of customer environments.</li></ul><p><b><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></b></p><br><ul><li>Experience with InterSystems Caché or InterSystems IRIS databases.</li><li>Familiarity with Tidal Workload Automation or similar enterprise scheduling platforms.</li><li>Experience supporting IBM Sterling Connect: Direct in Windows environments.</li><li>Experience developing PowerShell scripts and infrastructure automation solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of enterprise monitoring, operational support, and workload scheduling practices.</li><li>Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Splunk.</li><li>Experience with software deployment and release automation tools such as Octopus Deploy.</li></ul><p><b><u>What We Offer you</u></b></p><br><p>At FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
